💡 In my early stages of entrepreneurship, overcoming procrastination and laziness was hard. But after I deployed the two-minute rule, it couldn’t have been easier stop procrastinating and sticking to good habits at the same time.

The 2 Minute Rule is all about getting into new habits by kickstarting it with just two minutes of daily effort…

✅ The idea is to make our habits as easy as possible to start e.g. Anyone can meditate for two minutes, read one page, or kickstart their business with some level of effort.

✅ Once we start doing the right thing, it is much easier to continue doing it. Why❓ Cause a new habit should not feel like a challenge, and building momentum snowballs in the long run.

What we want is a gate way habit that naturally leads us down a more productive path.

✅ Remember, the point is to master the habit of showing up. The truth is, a habit must be established before it can be improved.

✅ Instead of being an engineer who perfects no habit from the start, do the easy thing on a more consistent basis. Standardize before optimising.

💎 Think about change as a way to getting started instead of being consumed by the end goal. Two minutes of effort is better than none at all 💎

Many may ask, how then does gratitude and entrepreneurship go hand-in-hand in light of boosting a business?

✅ As entrepreneurs, stress may be evident especially at the early stages of a business lifecycle, and may result in depression, anxiety, or substance abuse.

➡️ By practicing gratitude, we create a powerful internal energetic force that supports our physical and emotional health during turbulent times.

✅ Remember, what we focus on expands, and so, whatever we put our attention on, we get more of. Focusing on problems only begets more problems❗️

➡️ To counteract this, and add some other benefits to our life, we include gratitude and optimism as a #habit i.e. If we always look for the bad, are we not missing out on what’s good❓
